About me
My name is Rosalyn Ung. I am a student from the Bay Area, and attend the University of the Pacific as a graphic design major. I am passionate about business and advocating for gender equity and other social issues, all of which were very significant parts of my high school experience.

In my sophomore year of high school, I got the opportunity to be part of a student-run nonprofit organization called Rhapsody for Youth, which helps young individuals learn ways of self-advocacy and creating positive changes in the world.

In that same year, I helped create Project Novus, a year-long program for my school’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. After being part of its Partnership with a Business project the year prior, I was selected as one of three chairs for the following year. We created Project Novus in partnership with the nonprofit iGIANT, which worked to bring awareness to the vitality of gender/sex-specific studies and their impact.

During the start of the pandemic, I helped found She Helps Her, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged women with access to healthcare. We worked creating packages, donating over 8000 feminine care products to local homeless shelters.

In my senior year of high school, I co-founded The Little Shop Podcast. We interviewed young entrepreneurs about their experiences of running businesses or nonprofit organizations.
I hope to continue working with nonprofit organizations while attending university, and plan to further my passion for business by pursuing a minor in marketing!
